Soon you will all see an Engineering Advising “hold” on My ASU. Who put this on My ASU? And, what does this mean?
ASU’s Registrar put this “hold” on your account. All freshman students are required to meet with their academic advisor prior to Spring 2013 registration.
You may be thinking, “I just started my first semester.” That’s right, but we want to make sure that you are aware of the registration process for Spring 2013. Many of you met with your advisor at Freshman Orientation; the registration process is a little different moving forward.
What do you need to do? In October, CIDSE Advising will offer group advising sessions to guide you in your selection of your spring classes and remove your advising holds. Announcements will be made in your FSE 100 classes about the upcoming dates for these sessions and will include information on how to register for a session. If you prefer to have a one-on-one advising session, simply schedule an appointment with your CIDSE Advisor. You and your advisor will discuss how things are going for you right now, and talk about your course selections for Spring semester (2013).
