Students working towards the Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.S.E.) degree in Computer Systems Engineering at CIDSE will learn the basis of logic design, microprocessor system design, computer architecture and computer interfacing, while continually focusing on system requirements and design. They also focus on computer networks for the transmission of data and multimedia. They work on the interface between different pieces of hardware and strive to provide new capabilities for existing and new systems or products. The Computer Systems Engineering program also offers students the chance to concentrate their students in Information Assurance (IA). The concentration allows students to take core classes within a subject area that will meet the Computer Systems Engineering and/or Technical Elective requirements within one’s degree.
