Congratulations! You are almost done with your degree program. As you prepare to graduate in May, make sure you do the following:

  1. Check your DARS report to make sure that you are meeting all of your requirements for spring graduation – email your advisors if you think something is wrong with the report.
  2. Apply for Graduation (through the Graduation Office) if you have not already done so.
  3. Plan to attend the graduation ceremony. Yes, it’s all pomp and circumstance and you really, really want to do this! Get your cap and gown from ASU’s Bookstore – graduation section.

University Commencement is scheduled for Thursday, May 3rd, at 7:30PM (Wells Fargo Arena). All undergraduates at ASU will be in attendance. President Crow will address the graduates.

Barrett Honors Convocation is scheduled for Wednesday, May 2nd at 7:30PM.

Engineering Convocation is scheduled for Thursday, May 3rd, at 4:30 p.m. (Wells Fargo Arena). All engineering graduates will be recognized on stage.

After you apply for graduation, you will need to RSVP to these events through MyASU no later than April.

  1. Between now and May 3rd, be attentive to your studies and don’t catch Senioritis. Professors will hold you to the same standard as all other students. Don’t expect them to pass you just because you are graduating. They won’t.
