Fall 2013 Registration Information for Current Students
Posted in: Graduate News | March 12, 2013
Graduate student registration begins March 28th. You can view your registration date and time on your MyASU under the Fall 2013 tab
In addition, students will be allowed to register for a maximum of 12 credit hours. Full time enrollment for a graduate student is 9 credit hours.
What if the course I want is full? The best course of action is to be patient and watch the schedule of classes every day for seats to open up. Academic Advisors are here to assist you to the best of our ability. However, we cannot add additional seats to full courses. You can also use http://asuseatfinder.com.
If you are an RA or TA you are required to enroll in 12 credit hours but not necessarily 12 credit hours of in-person courses. Please work with you faculty supervisor and see procedure below is applicable.
If you are planning on registering for any of the following CSE/CEN/IEE 580, 595, 599, 792, 784, 795, 799 please fill out the CIDSE Graduate Course Permission Request form. Print and submit the form to CIDSE Advising Center, Brickyard, Ste. 208 by August 1, 2013 in order to guarantee timely processing before the start of fall semester; August 22, 2013. Email submissions will not be accepted.
If you are requesting CSE/CEN/IEE 590 or 790 – Independent Study please click here for the form.
Note: Many faculty members may leave campus during summer break so obtaining a signature after the spring 2013 semester ends may be difficult. Please plan accordingly.
Thinking of taking a semester off? PLEASE READ! If you have to take a leave of absence from your degree program the ASU Graduate College requires that students submit a Request to Maintain Continuous Enrollment form. This request must be submitted and approved before the anticipated semester of non-registration. For more information please contact us and refer to the Graduate College Policies.
